Pictures?

The comboio is back.  A few months ago it fell off the track (luckily it was not the Passenger Comboio but the Coal Comboio that fell off the track), but they got it all fixed up and now it's back in business.

There are so many things I want to take pictures of, but can't.  For example when I was walking out to the mato today to look for birds I passed a family working in their yard in front of their traditional thatched roof house made of sticks.  There were two little girls pounding (probably corn) in a pilao.  They each had a pole and they were smashing them into the pilao (which has an opening a little smaller than a basketball) in turn.  They were so fast and coordinated that they looked like pistons.  There were three older women sitting on a straw mat, legs out in front of them sorting through either peanuts or corn in panellas--large, flat woven baskets that are used for separating peanut flour from peanut pieces or for general sorting tasks.  They remind me of gold-pans.  There was an old man in the corner of the yard hacking something up with a machette and a couple other people doing things I didn't recognize as I walked past.  See, that's what I'd like to have a picture of, but imagine staring into someones yard and taking a picture?  Not so polite.

I didn't see many birds today.  Or, many birds that I could ID.  There's always tons of Little Brown Birds, but ID'ing those is a bit beyond me right now.

I saw this:
Scarlet-Chested Sunbird

And I saw a million little blue wax bills and a some sort of Batis  unfortunately I didn't catch a picture of those.
